        Do I need to change my filters?

        The Salt-Free softening media is a lifetime and never needs replacing. The media in the Premium will run for an incredible 1,000,000 gallons or 10 years and the sediment filter replaces annually - depending on your usage and water quality. When you purchase the replacement media, we ship everything you need to do the replacement including easy to follow to instructions.

        How does the “softener” work, since salt/chemicals aren’t used?

        How EnviroSoft Technology works are relatively simple: it changes scaling calcium into non-scaling calcium. Water becomes hard or “scaling” when the calcium / carbonic acid is out of balance. EnviroSoft media helps return hard water from a state of imbalance towards proper balance. As nature intended.

        Minerals are neutralized so they don’t stick to surfaces, not removed from your water using chemicals. The NSF-certified beads work in a fluidized bed - meaning they move around and bump into each other. The surface of each bead has a template of organized holes, technically referred to as “nucleation sites”. The sites act as a catalyst to change scaling calcium into nano-sized crystal structures that can absorb minerals, yet don’t attach themselves to the surfaces of your plumbing or appliances. The crystals eventually release from the templates into the water stream making EnviroSoft self-regenerating. You never have to replace the media.

        Nothing is added to the water. Back in the water stream, the calcium crystals become templates (or “seed” crystals) themselves and can perform the same function just like the media. This is especially important with hot-water appliances because heating water increases its scale potential. However, the seed crystals are able to absorb the calcium that would otherwise form a scale.

        EnviroSoft does not come with the ongoing hassle, expense or eco-issues that salt-softeners create. At the same time, EnviroSoft conditions your water to protect your plumbing and appliances. EnviroSoft also leaves in healthy minerals (softeners do NOT). EnviroSoft is eco-friendly, needs no maintenance, never has to be replaced and is cost-effective. Water as nature intended.

        Since the healthy minerals like calcium are left in the water, will that allow any mineral buildup/scale?

        No, it will not. The process as described above does, in fact, leave the natural minerals but also physically alters so that they cannot form scale.

        Will the Salt-free component protect the water dispenser/ice maker in my refrigerator?

        Yes, it will prevent them from forming a hard water scale! There are no negative effects of using our Salt-Free system with any existing appliance in your home. Again if you drink water from your refrigerator we recommend you purchase one of our other great products such as an H2 ionizer or the Premium Whole House System to remove other contaminants.

        How do I install the Combo System?

        The Combo system should be installed and maintained by a licensed, bonded contractor. Here are instructions meant to serve as a basic guide to installation. Note: individual installation needs may vary and should be determined by a licensed, bonded contractor. 

        Since the UltraHome whole house systems do not remove minerals, do we need to add anything to help my ionizer to perform?

        No - unless you have super soft source water with low minerals - you do not need any additional minerals. Our UltraHome whole house systems are designed to work with all of our ionizers.

        Does the system require electricity to operate?

        One of the great things about our systems is they do not require electricity to operate, unlike other systems. Others require (a plumber to perform) a reset if your power fails.

        Does my water need testing prior to installation?

        You need to know your hardness level. We can send you a free hardness test. Request yours here*. If you are on a private water supply like a well or catchment system you should have the water analyzed first. If you own your home, you should have a good report. We offer a few testing options including one for hardness. We can help you organize testing and our WQA Experts will analyze your results.             DELIVERY

            Please note that shipping charges includes delivery to the front of your house only. Please consider planning ahead if the items you order are heavy/large to get them to their desired location.

            Order Confirmation:

            As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

            Order Shipment:

            Damages:

            RETURNS

            Our return policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

            To be eligible for the maximum refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Returns must also be in the original packaging.

            On many returns, a 20% re-stocking fee may be deducted from your refund. This varies brand to brand and is up to the discretion of the brand manufacturer. As dealers, we are required to follow the refund policies of the individual brand manufacturers.

            To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

            We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@extremewellnesssupply.com.             If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

            If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

            Shipping costs are non-refundable. You are responsible to pay your own shipping costs for returning your item. If we issue a shipping call-tag for your return, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund credit.
